There Is Nothing Like Legacy In Akufo-Addo's Regime. Many have expressed their thoughts on the recent comments from the president of Ghana,  Nana Akufo Addo. In his argument, the president stated that Ghanaians shouldn't vote for John Mahama in the upcoming general election other than that, he would not protect his legacy. Such thought did not go well with most Ghanaians claiming Akufo Addo has no legacy that is worth celebrating. His only legacy is about family and friends in his government, corruption, nepotism, mismanagement, etc.

Ghanaian buzzing personality and the spokesperson to John Dramani Mahama, Beatrice Annan has cleared the air on the assertion made by President Akufo Addo. In her (Beatrice Annan) statement, she made it clear that President Akufo Addo should stop mentioning Mahama would destroy his legacy if he's voted into power. How could someone with a legacy of corruption, nepotism, mismanagement, etc be protected?

Mr. Mahama in response to the claim by Akufo Addo declared that indeed he doesn't stand to protect the legacy of arrogance, mismanagement, and corruption of the current president, Akufo Addo. Now, in an interview with Mrs Beatrice Annan, she joined the forces to condemn this current government as the most ineffective government in the history of this country. There's no legacy left for this president. We're speaking of a government that, in fact, admitted the state of our country had deteriorated compared to 40 years ago only last March when the President himself appeared before Parliament. That's not what the NDC is saying," she replied.

Zoomlion Unveils Reasons Why Accra Is Not Clean.

Ghana's renowned agency responsible for waste management across the country has named many factors responsible for Accra's waste. Accra being the capital city of Ghana is considered one of the dirtiest states in the country. According to Zoomlion, the attitudes of the inhabitants of Accra and weak law enforcement are the main reasons why Accra is so dirty.

Zoomlion, the top-notch waste management company residing in the country indicated that the aforementioned factors serve as the greatest barrier to effective waste management in the country's capital. In an interview, Sophia Kudjordji, a respondent from Zoomlion recounted how the company has been trying to invest in the sector of waste management concerning Accra and its environs alone but yet the consistent unpleasant behavior of the individuals makes their efforts fall in vain.

Madam Sophia also mentioned how the company intends to increase their personnel to engage in massive clean-up exercises. Aside from all these attempts, it seems the attitudes of the residents of such an area have not even recognized the need to assist the company in executing such a mission.

Also, the poor or weak law enforcement creates additional avenues for people to engage in all this unpleasant stuff.  According to the company, 80% of waste is collected by major waste management companies such as Zoomlion, and a further 20% is collected by locally operating tricycles called Aboboyaa'.
