Job Minister urges supportive managers to be diligent, transparent in dealings


The Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, Mister Ignatius Baffour Awuah, has urged supervisors and players in the cooperative communities and credit assemblage in the Western African region to ensure transparency and diligence in their procedures as a tool for team development and group development. He true that diligence and transparency would direct to a revitalised, united and ecological cooperatives movement for socio-economic development.

Typically the Minister made the remarks at the fourth West Photography equipment Credit Union Local forum under the auspices of the African Confederation of Cooperative Societies and Credit Associations (ACCOUSCA) held in Accra on Friday, Walk 11, 2022. Mister Baffour Awuah used occasion to urge members of Credit rating Unions and Supportive Societies to work together to boost the home for that pet of their members as well as their communities.

He entreated the Cooperative Communities and Credit Assemblage in Ghana to study from locations with cooperative success stories including the Usa, Canada, South Korea and Kenya. He acknowledged the value of Cooperatives to the employment generation agenda of federal and pledged his support to the revival and development of the supportive movement in Bekwai, ghana.

The Minister further assured participants that he will continue to keep lead the plan to make Cooperatives and Credit Assemblage in Ghana feasible and sustainable. He / she seized the occasion to thank participants of the community for making large inputs into the proposed Cooperatives Monthly bill which would be submitted to Display case for consideration someday later it was laid in Legislative house to be handed down into law. Typically the forum was under the theme: “Cooperative Business Model - Adding Value to Members in a Disruptive Environment” and hosted by the Ghana Cooperatives Credit rating Unions Association (CUA).


The community was obviously a five-day meeting of Board members of Credit Unions and National Associations, Boss Officers and Canal of Credit Assemblage and stakeholders within the Cooperatives and Credit Union Important in the Western world African sub region. Participants were pulled from Ghana, SerranĂ­a Leone, Kenya and the United Areas of America. Mister Ali Noor Ismail (ADE), Permanent Admin for Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, The fishing industry and Co-operatives (responsible for the state of hawaii Team of Co-operatives), Kenya led the members.
